Location:

Villa Izvor (meaning natural spring) is located in a secluded and private village setting overlooking the beautiful Konavle wine country. The spacious American Style home offers guests the opportunity to rest and relax in an undisturbed atmosphere. The original home was built on the site over 400 years ago. The owner has been able to preserve the foundation and the original old vaults in its original state. The floorplan of the home was designed to offer guests the opportunity to share the home, but not to feel overcrowded. There are actually two livingrooms. One downstairs and one upstairs. Each one has overstuffed furniture and a television. The kitchen is large with a center island as well as having Italian tile throughout. Downstairs, there is a gameroom with a pool table that converts into a pingpong table The outside was also created for comfort. There is a large outdoor woodburning barbeque that can be used for a small dinner, but it also has a large rotissery that can hold a whole lamb. The pool area is spacious enough to easily hold 60 people and allows guests to actually have the feeling of having a private pool that could be part of a hotel. For our guests who do not wish to cook, there is a small village restaurant located directly across from the villa. If you prefer, the owners of the restaurant will take orders in advance and bring the meals to the villa where our guests may enjoy a quiet meal on the terrace, in the patio or around the pool. If there are additional requests, we will work to accommodate all of the needs of our guests

There are 5 bedrooms. Three have queensize beds and the master bedroom has a kingsized bed and the 5th bedroom has 2 twin beds. A futon can be added to the upstairs bedroom and the couch in the living room does serve as a bed. The maximum is 12 people.

Cancellations:

*Minimum 14 days - We require any cancellation or date change to be made at least 14 days prior to your check in date to avoid forfeiting the full amount of the booking.

Getting There:

The best way to get here is by taxi or car. From the airport, travel South through Cilipi and keep going until you reach to border of Montenegro. Just before reaching the border, turn left at the sign that says "Vodovodja". Stay on that road until you reach the top and you will see Villa Izvor. Turn into the driveway and the owners will be there to greet you.
